Biography
Jermaine Henderson was part of a dominating era of Golden Knights men’s basketball, which went 109-21 throughout his four-year career on the way to winning three New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) titles. In addition, he was part of four NCAA Tournament teams, including the 1996 “Elite Eight” and the 1998 National Semifinal squads that were previously inducted into the Hall of Fame. Jermaine was named MVP of the 1998 NCAA Northeast Regional after he scored 33 points to lead Saint Rose to a 97-87 victory versus Stonehill. Henderson garnered NYCAC All-Conference accolades and was named an Eastern Basketball All-Star as a senior. He closed out his career fifth all-time in school annals in scoring (1,654), third in free throws made (464), and tied for 12th in steals (163). Henderson was inducted into the Saint Rose Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019.
