ABOUT SINKO: Steady guard who has continued to improve throughout his career…Will most likely once again have a reserve role in the backcourt.

AS A JUNIOR: Saw action in eight games throughout the year…Played a season-high seven minutes during a 56-54 victory versus Bridgeport (12/15/12) at the Adelphi Holiday Tournament…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Appeared in two games…Played a season-high four minutes in a 60-55 loss at Assumption (12/6/11).

AS A FRESHMAN: Saw limited time throughout five games…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester.

HIGH SCHOOL: Set a school record in free throw percentage at Shaker…Is also among the school’s top-10 all-time leaders in both 3-pointers made and 3-point field goal percentage…Led the football team in receptions as a senior.

GENERAL: Both his parents played basketball at Saint Rose…Also has an aunt who was a member of the basketball team at St. John’s…Enjoys fishing, snowboarding and playing the guitar…Aspires to teach high school history following his undergraduate career at Saint Rose…Said his parents are the people who have had the greatest influence him…Listed J.J. Redick as the athlete he most admires…Said his best sports moment to date was hitting a game-winning 3-pointer against Saratoga in a high school game.
