ABOUT HANUSCHAK: Outstanding all-around player…Has made 59 career starts…Enters the season tied for fifth (Clayton Longmire ’07) all-time with 93 career blocks and 13th with 562 rebounds, which leaves him 57 shy of the top-10…Has a nice touch around the basket…Is expected to again have a starting role in the frontcourt.

AS A JUNIOR: Started all of the team’s 31 contests…Finished fourth in the NE-10 in field goal percentage and was seventh in rebounding…Shot .563 percent (138-for-245) from the floor and hauled in a team-leading 8.7 boards on a regular basis…Scored 11.5 points per-game…Had seven “double-doubles” and was in twin-figures scoring on 20 occasions…Named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team after averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds throughout two games…Chosen to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on three occasions (12/13/10, 2/21/11, 2/28/11)…Had a season-high 21 points, on 10-for-11 shooting, to go with eight rebounds and three blocks in a 92-82 NE-10 quarterfinal victory versus Saint Anselm (2/28/11)…Recorded 14 points and 16 rebounds, one shy of his career-best, during an 86-75 triumph at Southern Connecticut State (2/19/11)…Wound up with 19 points and 12 boards in an 81-73 season-opening victory versus Dominican (11/13/10).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Averaged 11.9 points and finished fifth in the NE-10 with a team-leading 8.5 rebounds per-game…Shot .682 percent (113-for-180), also the league’s fifth best mark…Wound up sixth with 1.4 blocks per-outing…Was named to the NE-10 weekly honor on six occasions…Was in double-figures scoring 15 times and had 10 or more rebounds throughout eight contests…Recorded seven “double-doubles”…Paced the squad in scoring on six occasions and was its top rebounder 18 times…Tossed in a career-high 23 points in a season-opening 90-62 victory versus Bloomfield (11/15/09)…Hauled in a career-high 17 boards during an 82-73 victory at Franklin Pierce (1/9/10)…Registered a season-best five blocks during a 75-70 setback to Southern New Hampshire (1/12/10).

AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in 27 games and made four starts, including the final three games of the year…Averaged 3.9 points and 2.9 rebounds throughout 13.4 minutes of playing time…Finished with a season-high 12 points during an 88-79 OT setback at Saint Anselm (2/24/09) and followed that up with an 11 point, seven rebound effort in a first-round NE-10 Tournament loss at Southern New Hampshire (2/28/09).

HIGH SCHOOL: Recorded more than 1,300 points and 800 rebounds throughout two years at St. Andrews (RI)…Spent his first two years at Cumberland High School…First-team Providence Journal All-State pick as a senior…Was a key part of the 2006-07 team that won the New England Prep School (NEPSAC Class B) Championship…The club was ranked as high as #6 by HoopsUSA.com…Teamed with former Boston College star Rakim Sanders.
