GENERAL: Team’s top returning hitter…Transferred from Division I VCU three years ago…Provides outstanding power from the left side and will thus once again bat in the middle of the order as the starting first baseman…Said his father is the person who has had the greatest influence on him…Mentioned that the athlete he most admires is Derek Jeter…Hobbies include fishing and playing golf…Favorite movie is “American Sniper” and his favorite food is chipotle…Enjoys the music of Jay Z…His father played baseball at the University of Dayton…Aspires to become a New York State Trooper and to own a Kentucky Derby winner…Said that winning the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League home run derby in front of 5,000 fans in his hometown this past summer has been his best sports moment to date.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Started all 41 contests at first base…Garnered second-team Northeast-10 Conference All-Leagues accolades…Finished eighth in hitting with a .348 (54-for-155) average and was 11th among the league leaders with a .471 slugging percentage…Also paced the NE-10 with six sacrifice flies and was 14th behind 11 doubles…Was second on the team with a .410 on-base percentage to go along with eight stolen bases…Produced a team-leading 16 multi-hit games…Batted .302 (19-for-63) with two outs…Hit at a .769 (10-for-13) clip with a runner on third and less than two down…Named the NE-10 Player of the Week and the NCBWA East Region Hitter of the Week (3/4/14) after he batted .636 (7-for-11) with a solo home run, a stolen base, and three runs scored throughout three games…Was furthermore named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on three occasions (3/17/14, 4/14/14, 5/5/14)…Twice strung together back-to-back, three hit efforts…Went 3-for-5 with three RBI and a pair of doubles in an 11-10 win at Assumption (4/6/14)…Drove home four runs with a double and a triple in an 11-9 setback vs. Kutztown (3/15/14)…Wound up 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles during a 5-2 setback at Pace (4/18/19)…Doubled and scored three times in a 10-7 triumph against the Setters the following day…Finished 3-for-5 with two RBI in an 18-11 defeat at Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne (4/29/14)…Went 3-for-4 and drove home a run in the season finale at Le Moyne (5/1/14)…Selected to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE: Started all 43 games that he appeared in…42 of those starts came at first base, the other at DH…Named to the Rawlings East Region Gold Glove Team…Finished fifth in the NE-10 Conference with a team-leading five home runs…Also tied for the team lead with 26 RBI…Finished third on the squad with a .287 batting average…Scored 18 runs…Committed just one error in 396 chances…Had a team-best 16 multi-hit games…Also had seven multi-RBI performances…Named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (5/6/13)…Went 4-for-4 with an RBI in a 12-8 setback to American International (5/3/13)…Belted a two-run single and a home run in a season-opening 11-7 defeat at Francis Marion…Went 2-for-4, drove in three runs and scored twice during a 9-4 triumph at Molloy (3/16/13)…Finished 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI during a 15-8 setback to East Stroudsburg (3/28/13)…Went 5-for-6 with four runs scored and an RBI during a doubleheader sweep of Assumption (4/24/13)…Finished 3-for-5 with a two-run homer in a 21-5 loss at Le Moyne (4/30/13)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall semester.
 
AT VCU: Went 3-for-8 with a run scored and an RBI throughout seven games for the Rams in 2012.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead Thomas A. Edison to four consecutive section IV class “C” championships…First-team All-State pick as a senior and a third-team selection as a junior…Four-time IAC All-Star…Honored as the New York class “C” Player of the Year as a senior…Under-Armour preseason All American underclassmen in 2010…Tied for second all-time in New York State with 38 career home runs…Led the state with 60 RBI and four grand slams as a senior.
