Biography

GENERAL: Team captain for the second consecutive season…Is expected to once again get the majority of his playing time at second base…Transferred from the University at Albany four years ago although he did not dress for the Great Danes…Said his parents are the people who have had the greatest influence on him…Favorite food is steak…Favorite movie is “The Departed” and his favorite food is Chipotle…Enjoys the music of Nas…Said playing in the sectional championship game as a senior in high school has been his best sports moment to date…Aspires to start his own business following his graduation from Saint Rose.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Started 40 of the squad’s 41 games, all at second base…Tied for the team lead with 13 stolen bases…Batted .241 (23-for-133) with five doubles, 14 RBI and 21 runs scored…Was hit by pitch 11 times, second most in the Northeast-10 Conference…Was twice named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (3/10/14 & 4/14/14)…Had seven multi-hit games…Strung together an 11-game hit streak (3/8/14 to 4/6/14) during which he batted .415 (17-for-41) with seven RBI and four extra-base hits to go along with a .489 on-base percentage…Finished 3-for-5 with a run scored, an RBI, and a stolen base during a 5-2 setback vs. American International (4/9/14)…Belted a grand slam and finished 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored in an 8-7 loss at Rollins (3/8/14)…Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and a double in a 5-3 victory versus New Haven (4/25/14)…Was named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE: Made 15 starts and appeared in 16 games due to injury…Drove in five runs and scored five himself…Drew 10 walks in 53 plate appearances…Reached base three times with a hit and a pair of walks, and drove in a run during an 8-2 setback to Wilmington (3/7/13)…Doubled in a 4-3 loss at Assumption (4/10/13).
 
AS A FRESHMAN: Started 33 games; 21 at second, nine at short and three in left…Led the team with 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts…Scored 18 runs and drove in six more…Finished eighth in the NE-10 with 12 HBP…Batted .125 (12-for-96)…Went 2-for-4 with a run scored in a 6-1 victory at Assumption (3/28/12)…Finished 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI during a 4-2 victory at 12th ranked Le Moyne (4/3/12)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the spring semester.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-League, All-County, and All-Section honoree as a senior at Arlington…Played for Al Hammel.
