GENERAL: Team Captain…Expected to once again fill the starting role at shortstop...Was a four-year member of the Saint Rose women's basketball team (2005-09)...Enjoys listening to music…Favorite food is lasagna…Listed Candace Parker as the athlete she most admires…Caught the last out in the state championship softball game as a junior at Portland…Her brother Ed played baseball for Nebraska…Mentioned her parents as the people who have had the most influence on her…Said one of her best sports moments ever was winning the state championship in softball.

AS A JUNIOR: Started all 26 games in which she played after joining the team following a trip to the NCAA Tournament with the women’s basketball team…Led the squad with a .329 (26-for-79) batting average…Also slugged .418 and had 26 hits, 16 runs and seven RBI…Hit safely in six of her first seven games to start the year…Went 3-for-4 with a run and a stolen base in a 3-2 loss at New Haven (3/28/09)…Also closed out what amounted to her rookie campaign by hitting safely in seven of her last nine games…Finished 4-for-6 with three runs, two RBI and a double to help Saint Rose sweep a twin-bill versus Franklin Pierce (4/19/09)…Was 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI singles and a run in a 4-3 win at Saint Anselm (4/25/09)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in recognition of academic excellence.

HIGH SCHOOL: Team Captain...Finalist for Maine’s Miss Softball Award and was named the league’s Player of the Year as a senior at Portland in 2005...Also a top-10 finalist for the Miss Maine Basketball Award...Garnered State Western Player of the Year honors.
