Biography

GENERAL: Is expected to once again be a significant contributor…Said that his father is a person who has had a great deal of influence on him…Listed Tom Brady as the athlete he most admires…Works as a lifeguard during the summer months…Enjoys skiing and snowboarding.

AS A JUNIOR: Won 16 individual races over the course of the season…Placed first at four different meets in the 100 back and third at the NE-10 Championships (2/5-2/8/15) with a season-best time of 52.24…Won four different meets in the 200 back and came in second at the conference meet with a season-best 1:53.21…Placed 10th in the 100 fly at the NE-10 Championships with a time of 52.02…Also recorded victories in the 100, 200 and 1000 free throughout the season…Part of a quartet that swam the 800 free in 7:03.62 to take third at the NE-10 Championships…In the 200 free relay at the NE-10 Championships he led a third-place finish in 1:25.78…A member of a 200 medley relay squad that won three dual-meet races, one quad meet, and placed second at the NE-10 Championships with a season-best time of 1:34.50…400 medley relay contingent finished second in the conference meet with a time of 3:27.35.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE: Built off of what was a terrific freshman season…Had 23 top-three efforts scattered throughout 14 individual events…Set two individual records and was part of four record setting relay teams at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (2/6/14-2/9/14), including the 200 backstroke with a 1:50.70 showing...His 51.15 effort in the 100 backstroke, which was also the opening leg of the 400 medley relay, gave him another spot in the record books…That same medley team went on to finish in 3:27.22, meriting an all-time Saint Rose best…Swam first leg of school record-breaking quartets in the 200 free with a 1:25.64 clocking and the 800 in 6:52.01…Was also a member of the 400 free relay team that is an all-time best 3:06.44...Was also named to NE-10 weekly honor roll on three occasions (10/29/13, 11/12/13, 2/11/14)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A FRESHMAN: Had an outstanding rookie campaign…Swam 10 different events throughout the season…Hit the wall first on 13 occasions…Also had seven, second place performances…Part of the school record setting 800 free relay quartet that swam a winning time of 7:00.05 at the NE-10 Championships (1/31/13-2/2/13)…Also had second place performances in the 100 and 200 backstrokes at that meet behind respective times of 52.65 and 11:54.53…Was twice named the NE-10 Male Rookie Swimmer of the Week (10/23/12 and 11/20/12)…Was furthermore chosen to NE-10 weekly honor roll on two other occasions (10/30/12 and 1/15/13)…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-sport star for the Sabers…State champion in the 50 and 100 freestyle events as a senior under the guidance of coach Jim Rezzerday…Set school records in the 200 free and was part of the record setting 200 medley and both the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams…Was second-team All-State as a baseball player for coach Bill Dodd…Captained both the swimming and baseball teams as a senior…Listed his best sports moment to date as a complete game, 15 strikeout effort to propel Souhegan into the playoffs as a senior.
