GENERAL: Named Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps the athlete he most admires…Listed his parents as the people that have influenced him the most during his lifetime.

AS A JUNIOR: Competed in nine different events…Took 16th place in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:21.7 at the Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/20-22/09)…Swam a 2:19.34 in a preliminary heat…Part of winning 200 medley relay quartet versus Utica (11/8/08) that touched in 1:48.34…Swam a season-best fifth place time of 2:11.45 in the 200 IM versus Bentley (1/31/09)…Was also fourth in the 100 breast with a 1:07.86 clocking at that meet…Went 2:28.94 to take second in the 200 breast versus Adelphi (1/24/09).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Part of the winning 200 free relay team at Bentley (1:32.72)…Competed in seven individual events throughout the season…Placed third in the 200 free at both Le Moyne (12/8/07) and versus Saint Michael’s (1/19/08) with respective times of 1:59.91 and 1:57.64…Placed 12th in the 200 breaststroke at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (12/2/07) in 2:32.00…Also took 11th in the 100 breaststroke in a season-best time of 1:09.84…Was 14th at Metros (2/24/08) with a 2:26.83 clocking…Touched third in the 200 IM at Utica (11/3/07) with a time of 2:16.93.

AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in eight different events in his rookie campaign…Specialized in the 100 and 200 freestyles…Swam a then personal-best time of 54.31 in the 100 free versus Bentley (1/14/07)…Touched third in the 200 free at Le Moyne (12/9/06) with a 1:53.94…Recorded top-five finishes on eight different occasions throughout the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the soccer, swimming and track and field teams at Beacon…Named MVP of the swim team all four years he competed…Received All-League honors as a swimmer…Class President and member of the National Honor Society…Earned All-Section honors as a goalkeeper for the soccer team.
