RINDGE, NH- The College of Saint Rose women's lacrosse team fell short by the score of 10-5 at Northeast-10 Conference foe Franklin Pierce this afternoon.

Katy McPeak scored three times, while Kylee Payne and Lauren Pendergast supplemented the attack with one goal each. 

Pendergast and Daria Bock provided one assist each for the Golden Knights. Dorothy Gaffney made 13 saves in the net in the setback.

The Golden Knights received two goals from McPeak and a solo strike by Payne in the first period, but only managed to net two scores over the final 45 minutes of play.

Four different Ravens scored twice on the afternoon to help Franklin Pierce to the league win.

Looking ahead, the Golden Knights return to Sullivan Field to host New Haven at 4:00 pm on Tuesday.
