NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The College of Saint Rose women's lacrosse team suffered a 14-6 defeat at Northeast-10 Conference rival Southern Connecticut State this afternoon.
Kylee Payne and
Daria Bock scored two goals each, while
Carly Neville and
Katy McPeak netted a solo strike each.Â
The Golden Knights scored the first three goals of the game to jump out ahead 3-0, however the Owls would tally 13 of the next 15 scores to seal the win.
Kirsten McIntire led all players with four goals in the win for SCSU.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose returns to Sullivan Field for a 1:00 pm tilt with #22 Assumption.
