RINDGE, N.H- The College of Saint Rose defeated Franklin Pierce tonight in a tight battle of nationally ranked Northeast-10 Conference rivals in New Hampshire.
Saint Rose, who was named #3 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Association rankings, saw graduate midfielder
Elina Seppala net a 68th minute penalty kick to account for the lone score of the evening against the #14 Ravens.
Sophomore goalie
Pia Bozic turned away four Franklin Pierce shots across the 90 minutes to earn the shutout in net for Saint Rose.
Looking ahead, the Golden Knights are back at Sullivan Field to meet Saint Michael's at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.
