GARDEN CITY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose was swept in the final doubleheader of spring today at Pace University. The Golden Knights dropped the opener 6-0 before falling 9-4 in game two.
After the Setters limited Saint Rose to a pair of hits in game one, the Golden Knights lineup woke up to post multi-run innings in the fourth and fifth frames of game two. Unofrtunately for Saint Rose, Pace posted three runs in the fourth before scoring another five times in a big fifth of its own to take full control.
Sophomore second basemen
Alexandra Deeter finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the second game of the day. Freshman designated player Anna Clearly drove in a pair of RBI, while junior catcher
Julia Rupinski knocked in one as well.
