GARDEN CITY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose finished the 2022-23 regular season tonight with a road matchup at Adelphi. The Panthers knocked down 11 three-pointers as a team and held Saint Rose to a 30.2 shooting percent (19-of-63) from the field to take the 79-50 win.
Junior guard Isabel Sanchez topped the Golden Knights with 16 points, while freshman forward Aniya McDonald-Perry finished with a game-high 10 rebounds.
Adelphi guard Ty'zhea Hawkins led all scorers with 29 points. The Panthers offense was most dangerous in the second quarter, when the hosts shot 11-of-15 from the floor in the frame to take a 46-18 advantage at halftime.
Looking ahead, the Golden Knights will enter the NE10 playoffs as the number 10 seed, where Saint Rose will matchup with the 6th-seed American International. The opening round action is set to begin on Friday at 5:00 pm in Springfield, Mass.
