WORCESTER, Mass.- The College of Saint Rose women's soccer team moved to 10-0 this fall following a 3-0 victory at Assumption this evening.
Junior forward
Mia Klammer scored all three goals to help the #3 nationally ranked Golden Knights log their fifth shutout win in the last six matches.
Klammer's hat trick began in the middle of the first half, when she netted a pair of strikes four minutes apart to give Saint Rose a 2-0 lead by the 26th minute. Both of Klammer's first two goals would come off headers, with freshman midfielder
Sydney Myers and junior back
Jada Brown each providing perfect crosses to lead the respective scores.
An un-assisted goal from Klammer with three minutes elapsed in the second half would give Saint Rose the 3-0 winning margin.
The Golden Knights stay on the road to face to Saint Anselm at 3:00 pm on Saturday in Manchester, N.H. Assumption returns to action on Saturday afternoon at Southern Connecticut State.
