AMHERST, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose dropped a three-set contest today against non-conference foe Daemen.
Sophomore middle blocker
Teresa Moulder and senior outside hitter
Jessica Vargas finished with five kills each. Junior middle blocker
Julia Cavalcanti recorded four kills and two blocks. Vargas led the team with the 14 digs.
The host Wildcats out-killed Saint Rose 43-19 while limiting the Golden Knights attack to a -.020 team hitting percentage across the three sets.
Looking forward, Saint Rose will return to Northeast-10 Conference action on Friday night at Saint Anselm.
