PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose opened Northeast-10 Conference play today against #16 Pace University, with the nationally ranked Setters controlling most of the action to take the 16-4 victory at home.
The experienced Setters led 11-1 after a first half in which Pace outshot the Golden Knights 23-5.
Saint Rose (2-1/0-1 NE10) received two goals each from sophomore midfielder
Daria Bock and freshman attacker
Katy McPeak. Dock and freshman attacker
Lauren Pendergast also tallied one assist apiece.
Senior midfield Katie Conway recorded seven goals to lead Pace (4-0/1-0 NE10).
Moving forward, Saint Rose begins a stretch of four consecutive home games on Wednesday with a 2:00 pm non-conference tilt against Nyack.
