SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The College of Saint Rose won its sixth straight match of the spring with tonight's 3-1 victory at American International.
The Golden Knights (6-1) scored in the opening two minutes and struck twice in a five-minute stretch late in the second half, before the Yellow Jackets (1-4) ruined the clean sheet in the final four minutes. Overall, Saint Rose engineered a 13-7 shot advantage and a 6-1 corner kick differential.
"Tonight was a great team performance over a very organized and well-coached AIC side. I thought we did a great job defensively and were able to solve a lot of problems that the opposition tried to create through our possession," said head coach
John Ciano.
Four different players figured in the scoring including sophomore midfielder
Josh Elliott who accounted for the game-winner with 70:26 expired. He also set up the insurance tally at the 74:58 mark.

Casper Rasmussen. Freshman forward
Erick Radtke later came off the bench to provide the third goal with his team-leading fifth strike of the spring.
