NE10 LEADNG OFFENSIVE UNIT TOO MUCH FOR SAINT ROSE

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The top scoring offensive unit in the Northeast-10 Conference proved to be too much for The College of Saint Rose this afternoon. #19 Pace University struck five times in the opening four minutes on the way to an 18-4 win against the visiting Golden Knights.

Sophomore midfielder/defender Eileen Rattigan scored a pair of goals while sophomore midfielder Deanna Ciliento and freshman midfielder Daria Bock had one each for the Golden Knights (0-6/0-6 NE10). Sophomore defender Nicole Taveras came up with three draw controls and initiated a pair of turnovers.

Between the posts, freshman Dorothy Gaffney and sophomore Madeline Yeung recorded 14 saves collectively.

At the other end, senior midfielder/attacker Carlyn Mucci and freshman midfielder Angelina Porcello had four goals apiece for the Setters (7-1/6-1 NE10) who now own a 137-58 goal differential on the year.

Looking ahead, both teams are scheduled to be in action on Tuesday afternoon. Saint Rose is slated to host #15 New Haven at 1:00 pm, while Pace is at Southern Connecticut State for a 4:00 pm start.
