ALBANY, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose concluded its abbreviated 2020-21 season by falling to visiting Bryant & Stratton – Buffalo 67-66 this afternoon in the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

Senior forward
Nina Fedullo led Saint Rose with 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting and eight rebounds. Junior guard
Becca Townes added a "double-double" of 18 points and 11 boards.
"This was a tough way to end as far as assessing what we are capable of," said Head Coach
Whitney Edwards. "Bryant and Stratton battled for 40 minutes, which we knew they would. This season has been filled with a lot of challenges, and ups and downs. There is so much that we will learn from the experience that we had this season and use these lessons to fuel our growth in the future."
The Golden Knights, which shot 48.2 percent (27-for-56) from the field, closed the third period on an 8-2 run to hold a 57-51 advantage entering the fourth quarter. Bryant & Stratton – Buffalo (8-5) roared back, using a 13-5 jaunt to take the lead for the first time since the opening period with 2:13 remaining.
Fedullo quickly knocked down a jumper to give Saint Rose back the lead, only for senior guard Alissa Johnson to put the Bobcats up for good with a make from downtown with 1:26 left on the clock.
After Fedullo trimmed the deficit to a single point with 29 seconds to go, the Golden Knights (0-7) had multiple chances to take back the lead, but three looks were either blocked by senior guard Janae Brannon or off the mark.
Brannon topped the Bobcats with 22 points, while Johnson tossed in 20.
Bryant & Stratton - Buffalo is scheduled to host Bryant & Stratton – Syracuse on Sunday at 1:00 pm.                Â
