ALBANY, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose outscored Saint Michael's 14-9 throughout the final eight minutes to snap a four game slide with tonight's 82-76 win inside the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.
The Golden Knights put four players in double figures scoring and passed out 25 assists, while committing a mere seven turnovers. Saint Rose (5-4) also shot 70.0 percent from the arc (7-for-10) throughout the final 20 minutes after connecting on only 14.3 percent (1-for-7) of its chances in the first half.
"It was a good team win tonight. We had a lot of guys that contributed in a variety of ways. We really played unselfish basketball and the box score showed it as we had 25 assists on 30 field goals. We need to get back in the gym this week and get ready for another road test next Saturday," said head coach

Freshman forward
Shane O'Dell filled up the box score with 23 points, seven rebounds, and a career-best seven assists, while sophomore forward
Josh McGettigan tossed in a season-high 19 points to lead the Saint Rose offense. Sophomore forward
Eric Fleming and fifth-year guard
Adam Anderson scored 13 and 12 respectively. In addition, freshman guard
Tray Alexander scored nine points and passed around a career-high 12 assists. Anderson also came up with four steals.
Senior forward Paul Gardner topped the Purple Knights (3-5) with 18 points and eight boards.
The Golden Knights trailed 68-67 with 7:58 remaining before O'Dell finished inside to ignite the final run and put Saint Rose on top for good. McGettigan drained a key 3-pointer that turned what was a one-point, 74-73, ballgame into a 77-73 affair with 1:40 remaining. Anderson then went 3-for-4 from the stripe over the final 30 seconds and McGettigan helped cap it with a fast break dunk.
Up next, the Golden Knights are off until a week from tomorrow due to final exams. They will travel to Wilmington, Delaware to face Goldey-Beacom at 1:00 pm. Meanwhile, Saint Michael's hosts Post University this Sunday at 2:00 pm in Colchester, Vt.
Notes: Anderson has finished in twin double-figures in five straight games…O'Dell currently stands fifth in the Northeast-10 Conference with a 19.9 scoring average…He has been in twin-figures in all but two contest thus far…Alexander is second among the league leaders with 6.6 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
