PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose was upended on the road against an experienced Pace University team tonight, with the undefeated Setters producing a strong second half to take the Northeast-10 Conference victory, 69-44.

Nina Fedullo was stout on the defensive end with game-highs of 12 boards and four blocks, to go along with six points.

Becca Townes helped Saint Rose (1-4/1-2 NE10) keep things close throughout the opening 20 minutes, with the duo combining for 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting. The frontcourt pair united to dish out seven assists and Fedullo tallied eight boards to round out a first half that ended with the Setters holding a 33-27 advantage.
Pace (5-0/4-0 NE10) propelled to the win behind a big fourth quarter that saw the hosts outscore the Golden Knights 21-7 while knocking down 60.0 percent (9-for-15) of its field goals. On the other end, the Setter defense limited Saint Rose to 2-of-11 shooting over the final 10 minutes to keep their record perfect.
Pace graduate student forward Lauren Schetter led all players with 24 points, while senior guard Lauren Hackett and graduate student guard Naya Rivera finished with 15 and 10 points respectively. Entering tonight's game, Schetter ranked second in the NE10 with a scoring average of 20.8 points per game.
Moving forward, Saint Rose returns to Nolan Gym on Saturday to host New Haven at 1:30 pm in the first half of a league doubleheader. Pace is back in action on Friday night with a 7:00 pm non-conference match-up at Bridgeport.
