ALBANY, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose was upended 67-65 by visiting Saint Michael's in this evening's Northeast-10 Conference game at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. Senior forward
Leah Dollard netted a game-high 16 points, while junior forward
Nina Fedullo added her sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Â
The visiting Purple Knights, which started 10-of-16 from the field, closed the opening period on an 11-2 run to open up a dozen-point advantage. Saint Rose battled back, commencing the second quarter on a 17-6 run to go into the locker room down 41-36.
Â
The second half was tight throughout, with neither squad leading by more than eight. There were four ties across the final 16:35, including at 62 with 2:21 to go.
Â
Senior forward Alyssa Breunig knocked down an important trey with 1:40 remaining to give Saint Michael's a 65-64 lead. After a pair of Purple Knight foul shots with 14 ticks on the clock, Saint Rose had an opportunity to tie the NE10 contest with a shot from beyond the arc. The ensuing three pointer was off the mark with the ball caroming out to Dollard deep. She was fouled on her attempt to head to the line for a trio of free throws with two seconds left. The Albany native started one-of-two at the line, forcing a timeout by Saint Rose Head Coach
Karen Haag to discuss. Dollard intentionally missed the attempt, with Saint Michael's senior forward Taylor Miller securing the board, a double-double of ten points and ten rebounds, and most importantly, the win.
