ALBANY, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose concluded its season on a high note, as senior forward
Karissa Birthwright eclipsed the 1,000 point mark in tonight's 73-67 Northeast-10 Conference setback to visiting Pace University. Birthwright, just the 21
st Golden Knight to reach the mark, totaled a team-high 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting. She was one of four Golden Knights (11-16/4-16 NE10) in double figures in the setback.

Senior guard
Ashley Vanderwall tossed in 15 points, while senior guard
Isa Vara de Rey had 12 points and seven rebounds. Junior guard
Cameron Graupman added 11 points, eight of which came in the opening period.
Pace (10-18/7-13 NE10) sophomore forward Lauren Schetter topped all players with 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting. She had seven rebounds and five assists in the win. Senior guard Alexandra Monteleone tossed in 18 points, while junior guard Jackie DelliSanti added 10.
Saint Rose started the contest strong, getting out to early 6-2 and 18-10 leads. However, Pace weathered the storm and used a 24-4 run across 11:37 to hold a 36-24 halftime advantage.
The Golden Knights, down 56-44 entering the fourth, made a late push to get to within two, 69-67, following a Graupman trey with 1:43 to go. DelliSanti responded by knocking down a jumper on the next possession. After a Saint Rose miss, Monteleone swished a pull-up jumper to give Pace some breathing room. The Golden Knights got off multiple good looks in the final minute, but failed to get any closer.
Tonight concluded the regular season. The NE10 Championship Tournament begins this Friday.
Notes: Birthwright closed her career with 1,015 points.
