ALBANY, N.Y. – Adelphi put nine players in the scoring column and turned 28 miscues by The College of Saint Rose into 25 points to upend the Golden Knights 77-46 in this afternoon's Northeast-10 Conference opener for both squads at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium.

Senior guard
Cameron Graupman led the scoring parade for a young Golden Knights (3-2/0-1 NE10) squad that featured five newcomers who all saw at least eight minutes of playing time. Graupman finished with 11 points behind 3-for-5 shooting from the arc. Sophomore forward
Shamim Wambere contributed seven points and 13 boards, while sophomore guard
Becca Townes and junior forward
Nina Fedullo added nine and eight points respectively.

Senior forward Leone Edringer had a monster "double-double" for Adelphi (5-0/1-0 NE10) with 18 points and a like number of rebounds. Junior guards Katie Murphy and Emily Miccile contributed 17 and 16 points respectively.

The Panthers, which came into the weekend sixth in the country averaging an NE10-best 91.5 points, scored the game's first nine points and owned a 23-12 advantage after the first period. Adelphi led by double digits the rest of the way.

Looking ahead, both teams are in action Tuesday at 5:00 pm. Saint Rose travels to Syracuse to play Upstate Challenge and NE10 rival Le Moyne. Fans that are unable to attend the game can watch all the action live on the
