CLERMONT, Fla. – The College of Saint Rose softball team began its annual Florida trip with a pair of setbacks. The Golden Knights (0-2) fell to Felician 5-4 and Nyack 9-4.
Down to its final out in the opener, Saint Rose put together a three-run rally before falling. Junior outfielder

Beth Jones. Jones and freshman designated player
Liz D'Agostino led the Saint Rose offense with three hits apiece.
Felician (2-4) used a pair of home runs to score four runs in the first. Saint Rose got on the board in the second. The Golden Falcons put across what was the deciding run in the sixth.
The Warriors (1-3) plated five runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth of their come from behind victory in the nightcap.
Jones, freshman infielder
Savanna Liverio and Cimini had two hits each to lead the Golden Knights offense. Jones had a pair of RBI singles, while Liverio drove in two with a double in her Saint Rose debut.
The Golden Knights have a pair of games tomorrow. Saint Rose faces Northern State at 2:00 pm and Upper Iowa at 7:00 pm.
