GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team was swept at Adelphi in tonight's
Northeast-10 Conference Championship Tournament Quarterfinal (25-16, 25-12, 25-18).

Adelphi (26-5), now winners of eight-straight, received a "double-double" of 14 kills and 10 digs from junior outside hitter Sara Bisbe. Senior outside hitter McKenna Clawson and sophomore middle blocker Cara McKenzie added 10 kills apiece, McKenzie on .563 hitting. Freshman setter Grace Wegmann distributed 29 assists, while junior libero Karatina Warburton elevated 13 Saint Rose attacks.
After the second-seeded Panthers used a 9-2 stretch to take the opener, the hosts tallied 11 of the first 13 points to cruise in the second set. Adelphi then forced Saint Rose to hit negative in the third set to complete the sweep and move to 14-1 at home this fall. Adelphi hit .314 on the night.
The Panthers advance to Friday's Northeast-10 Conference Semifinal.
Notes: Saint Rose made its first NE10 Championship Tournament appearance since 2015...The Golden Knights closed the regular season with NE10-bests of 228 total blocks and 2.23 blocks per set...Webber leads the conference with 1.15 blocks per set, while Archie (0.98) ranks fourth in the category…Ceriello, who was named the NE10 Libero of the Week five times this fall, is the NE10 leader in digs per set at 5.60...The junior is second with 582 total digs…Kubik, second among the league leaders with 1019 total assists, ranks second in Golden Knight records with 2,777 career assists.
