CLERMONT, Fla – he College of Saint Rose opened its season by losing twice in the Spring Games. The Golden Knights fell to Gannon 4-0 and loss to Tiffin 4-1.

In the season opener, Tiffin (4-8) scored four runs in its first at bat although all the runs were unearned off junior right-hander
Dana Nicoletti, who scored the lone Saint Rose run.Â

Carly Wood had two hits each in the opener.
In the second game, Gannon scored three times in the top of the seventh to break open what had been a tight contest. Sophomore outfielder
Erin Maloney had the lone hit for the Golden Knights.

Looking ahead, the Golden Knights (0-2) play a 9:00 am doubleheader vs. the NYIT tomorrow.
