ALBANY-The College of Saint Rose cut into an 18 point, second period deficit to throw a scare at 14th ranked Adelphi, before succumbing 72-63 inÂ
Northeast-10 Conference action tonight. The Panthers (21-3/16-1 NE10) meanwhile won their third straight and improved to 11-3 on the road.
"We played hard and gave a good effort tonight. We did a solid job out of the locker room in the second half, but made too many mistakes at crucial junctures when we needed a score. I am proud that our team never quit against a tough and talented opponent," said head coach
Karen Haag.
