ALBANY, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team was defeated 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-22) by New Haven in 
Northeast-10 Conference action Saturday afternoon.
 
Freshman middle blocker 
Victoria Fogg led the Golden Knights' offensive effort with a career-high seven kills on .500 hitting.               
 
Junior setter 
Sam Kubik distributed 25 assists and sophomore libero 
Tina Ceriello totaled 16 digs.
 
The Chargers (11-7/6-0 NE10) had a balanced attack, receiving nine kills from four different players. Junior setter Kristine Rios had 30 assists, while three New Haven players combined for 43 digs.  
 
After holding the hosts to .088 hitting to take the first set, UNH got out to a 7-0 lead in the second set. Saint Rose (8-10/0-4 NE10) battled back but couldn't complete the comeback set victory. The Golden Knights opened up an 11-4 lead in the third set. New Haven rallied to take the set, and with it the match though.
 
Both teams have road NE10 matches on Tuesday. Saint Rose travels to Southern Connecticut. New Haven heads to Bentley.
