Upstate Challenge rival Dolphins into 21 miscues that they turned into 20 points.
Â
"We played good defense against a very challenging Le Moyne offense tonight. Our team DNA is becoming that of a defensive unit. I am proud of the way our guys dig in and stay the course even when the ball is not going in," said head coach
Brian Beaury.
Â
Senior forward
Tyler Sayre scored 11 of his season-high 19 points in the second half to lead Saint Rose (9-0/4-0 NE-10). Also, junior guard
Mical-Ryan Boyd tossed in 14 points while senior guard
Damon Coleman and junior forward

Saint Rose led by 12, 35-23, after Sayre knocked down a jumper to open the second half. The Dolphins then outscored the Golden Knights 23-14 throughout the ensuing 10 minutes to cut their deficit to three, 49-46, when sophomore guard C.J. Asuncion-Byrd put back his own miss.
Â
It was still a three point, 52-49, affair four minutes later when Le Moyne junior guard Anthony Richards knocked down a 3-pointer. However, the Golden Knights limited the Dolphins to a pair of field goals throughout the final 4:30 to keep their unblemished record intact.
Â
