Gargaro was the top Saint Rose finisher at the 2009 NCAA East Regional that was run Sunday at Franklin Park in Boston. It marked the first time this season Gargaro led the Golden Knights as he crossed the line 35th among 180 entries in the race. Gargaro covered the 10k layout in 33:41.4.
