Whiting was named MVP of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament following a 2-1 victory over #19 Franklin Pierce in the league championship game. Whiting anchors a defense that allowed one goal in three conference tournament games. The Golden Knights outscored their opponents 5-1, thus recording a pair of shutouts along the way to their third straight NE-10 title. Whiting is also part of a defense that has shutout 13 of its last 15 opponents and leads the league behind a 0.24 goals-against-average. Furthermore, Saint Rose has allowed a mere five goals all year, none in the first half.
