Horton finished tied for third overall among 60 entries at the 2009 Northeast-10 Conference Championship that concluded Monday. In the process, Horton garnered first-team All-Conference accolades for the second consecutive year. He walked into the clubhouse in a six-way tie for third following a three-over 75 in round one. Horton then carded a four-over 76 in round two, thus finishing a mere one stroke back of the co-leaders with a 150.
