Tallman registered a trio of top-six placings at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, hosted by American International. Tallman won the shot put with a mark of 13.80m. The distance ranks third in program history. He finished fourth in the discus (39.45m) and sixth in the hammer (41.49m).
