Leighton registered the lone victory Tuesday afternoon for Saint Rose, rallying from a 0-6 first set loss to upend Assumption College freshman Samantha Jean 6-3, 10-8 in the second singles flight. Leighton nearly went perfect on the day, but suffered a slim 9-8 (7-4) setback from the No. 1 doubles position. On Sunday, Leighton unfortunately handed a hard luck loss via an 8-6 decision in doubles action.
