Brauer established himself as a three-time All-American Saturday after setting his fifth school record within a four-day span. He sliced nearly four seconds off his own school standard on the way to an eighth place performance in the 200-yard breaststroke with a 2:04.69 clocking. He also went 1:51.88 in the 200 butterfly to remove three seconds off his mark with a 22nd place performance on Friday. Brauer furthermore finished 11th among 33 total entries to garner honorable mention All-America accolades in the 400 individual medley Thursday with a 3:59.02 clocking. On Wednesday, Brauer generated his first honorable mention All-America honor by taking a staggering 21 seconds off his own school record to finish 11th with a 9:24.53 clocking in the 1,000 freestyle.
