Peterson had a pair of first and second place performances while anchoring the winning 200-yard freestyle relay quartet that swam a 1:45.48 to help the Golden Knights go 2-1 in dual meet action last week. Peterson’s second place time of 10:49.82 in the 1,000 free was nearly 20 seconds swifter than the previous school mark that had stood for 16 years and her 56.23 clocking in the 100 free was good enough for first as Saint Rose split a double-dual meet with Southern Connecticut and Queens Friday night. On Saturday, Peterson swam a winning 500 free time of 5:18.36 and touched second in the 200 free in 2:00.13 to lead the Golden Knights past visiting Bentley 140-96.
