Balkwell recorded 15 saves and allowed a mere one goal throughout 180 minutes of action to post a 0.50 goals-against-average throughout a 2-0 week for the Golden Knights. He had a season-high 10 saves, including eight in the first half to keep the game level, in Wednesday’s 1-0 victory at Assumption. He then turned aside five shots-on-target, including a key diving save to deflect a dangerous threat over the crossbar in the 80th minute, during Saturday’s 2-1 win against visiting Saint Michael’s.
