Howard turned in another strong performance at the Pace University Invitational. He claimed the top spot in the 200 IM for the second straight meet by turning in a personal best time of 2:00.84. He also took first in the 100 backstroke with a 54.24 time and finished second in the 200 backstroke with his 1:59.33 clocking. Howard also swam the lead leg for the Golden Knights in the 400 medley relay where Saint Rose placed second in a time of 3:40.40.
