Yafayev won four individual events and was part of two winning relay squads throughout a pair of dual meet victories for Saint Rose. Yafayev took the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:05.56 and the 200 backstroke in 2:03.82 to lead the Golden Knights past Saint Michael's 154-115 on Saturday. He also piloted the 200 free relay team to a win in 1:44.19. Yafayev went 58.06 in the 100 backstroke and 2:04.53 in the 200 individual medley in a 145.5-85.5 triumph at Bentley on Sunday. Yafayev also helped the 200 free relay team swim a winning time of 1:30.04.
