Murphy was named Most Outstanding Player of the Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Soccer Championships on Sunday. She allowed only one goal in 200 minutes of action en route to a 1-0-1 record last week. She registered 10 saves, a .909 save percentage and a 0.45 goals-against-average as well. Murphy turned aside four shots to chalk up a 2-0 shutout win versus UMass Lowell in an NE-10 semifinal contest on Thursday. She then made six saves in a 1-1 double-overtime draw at Franklin Pierce, including an important stop in the shootout that allowed Saint Rose to become only the fourth team since 1985 to win back-to-back league titles.
