Del Bene turned in a pair of fine performances to lead Saint Rose to a fifth place finish at the Springfield Invitational on Saturday. Del Bene placed second in the discus with a distance of 32.33 meters (106-1.00). She also wound up third in the hammer throw with a toss of 38.74 meters (127-1.00).
