Lloyd had an historic outing at the George Davis Invitational that was hosted by UMass Lowell this past Saturday. Lloyd set both a school and meet record with a winning time 9:14.47 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The previous school record was owned by Mark Delfs who ran a 9:36.74 at Union College in 1993. Lloyd also met an NCAA outdoor provisional qualifying standard with Saturday’s performance.
