Dowen batted .800 in the two games he played last week behind the plate. He was a combined 4-for-5 with a run, double, walk and also stole a base. Dowen finished 2-for-2 with a run, double and a walk in a  5-3 loss at #23 Franklin Pierce on Saturday. He then wound up 2-for-3 behind a pair of singles in an 8-4 setback versus #5 Southern Connecticut State on Monday.
