Batchelder had another solid outing in 7-0 victory at American International College on Tuesday. Batchelder scattered five hits over the distance and fanned a career-high 10 batters en route to his team-leading fifth win of the year (5-2). Batchelder furthermore allowed only one runner into scoring position, and that was not until the eighth inning. He has now given up only three earned runs throughout his last six appearances that cover 45.2 innings of work while lowering his ERA to 1.78. The latter ranks eighth in the NE-10.
