Yafayev registered three individual first place performances throughout a pair of dual meet victories over the weekend. He swam a winning time of 2:03.75 in the 200-yard butterfly and finished the 200 backstroke in 2:02.83 to help Saint Rose upend visiting Skidmore on Sunday. On Saturday, Yafayev took the 200 IM in 2:01.62. He was also a member of the 200 free relay team that swam a first place time of 1:32.02 as Saint Rose clipped host Adelphi 48-47.
