ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose women's lacrosse team hung close to #20 Assumption today until a rally gave the visiting Greyhounds a 14-7 win at Sullivan Field.
The Golden Knights fought back from an early deficit to tie the action at 6-6 before Assumption scored eight of the final nine goals to pull away for the win.
Daria Bock scored four times, while
Katy McPeak netted three strikes to account for the Saint Rose scoring.
Bock finished with two assists and
Lauren Pendergast had one helper.
Dorothy Gaffney made 13 saves.
Kyle Johnston and Katelynn Johnston each tallied four goals to led Assumption to the win.
The Golden Knights return to Sullivan Field to host Southern New Hampshire at 4:00 pm on Wednesday.
