ALBANY, N.Y. - The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball squad will commence its 2021 season Thursday with a 7:00 pm home match versus Mercy College.

It will mark the team's first official home competition in 663 days after the Golden Knights capped their 2019 home campaign with a 3-0 triumph versus Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Michael's.

Among the returnees are senior middle blocker/right side hitter
Cassidy Smith and second year freshman outside hitter
Juliana Venduro. The former averaged 0.83 blocks per set through the team's two countable matches last spring, while Venduro averaged 1.0 kill per set. Second year freshman middle blocker
Karleigh Fripp manufactured a team best 2.25 points per set.

The Golden Knights will have only one senior and three juniors listed on their roster.
