SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose softball team was swept in this afternoon's
Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader at Le Moyne. The Golden Knights (13-23/7-12 NE10) fell by scores of 10-3 and 6-4.to their Upstate Challenge rival.
Le Moyne (31-10/15-7 NE10) used a five-run fourth inning to take the opener. Freshman infielder
Savanna Liverio accounted for all three Saint Rose runs on a fourth-inning home run to center.
The Dolphins came back to take the night cap, totaling four runs in the fourth. Junior infielder
Briana Bowen was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, while junior infielder
Beth Jones had a three-run double.
Both teams are scheduled to have NE10 games this weekend. Saint Rose will host three games vs. Pace University on Friday and Saturday, with the Dolphins at New Haven for three games.
