Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Divisional rival Adelphi today for a single game to finish the 2013 campaign and a "Senior Day" ceremony. First pitch at

2012 vs. Adelphi (0-2): A second inning solo home run allowed host Adelphi to complete a sweep against visiting Saint Rose. The Panthers won the opener 4-0 and then spoiled an outstanding outing by Lauren Sputo with a 1-0 victory in the finale.
Last Time Out: Saint Rose and Adelphi split yesterday's doubleheader as the Golden Knights won the opener 2-0 before falling 8-1 in the second contest. Five individuals produced at least two hits for the Golden Knights as junior centerfielder
Amber Loussedes led that group with three hits. Freshman right-hander
Nicole Wickham earned the victory in the first game by posting a complete game shutout for her seventh win of the season. Senior outfielder Emily Dorko went 5-for-8 while senior outfielder Amy Caird notched four hits and two RBI on the day to pace the Panthers. Senior pitcher Laurin Watts picked up her 18th victory of the campaign by striking out eight in the nightcap.

Saint Rose Diamond Notes: Reed has tallid 67 hits, 44 RBI, and 41 runs in her three-year career. The Golden Knights are second in the league with 36 extra base hits and third with 45 sacrifice hits.
Adelphi Diamond Notes: Adelphi is ranked 23rd in the latest NFCA Poll. Dorko entered the week eighth in the nation with a league leading .521 average. She is also just two hits aways from 100 on the season. Sophomore infielder Victoria Wink is first in the conference with 50 RBI.
